Made to float
Most of our watersport frames float. Many are recycled HDPE, a plastic lighter than water; others carry floaters in the arms, and most ship with an extra floater for the strap. Lose a pair in a crash and it stays on the surface, where you can find it. See the full range of floating sunglasses.
Lenses that read the water
Every watersport sunglass lens is polarized to cut the glare that comes off the surface, so gusts, chop and depth stay readable. A hydrophobic coating makes water bead and run off instead of drying into spots. Several models take a photochromic lens that moves between category 1 and 3 as the light changes, and some offer a ZEISS smoke lens. More on how it works in our guide to polarized lenses.
Held in place
